Delete your Marketplace account

This page explains how to delete your account on Marketplace (the website and the Android app), operated by BLASTEK, and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

Sign in on this page. In the Android app you can also open Account → Delete account.
Enter your password and confirm that you understand the deletion cannot be undone.
Select "Delete my account". The account is deleted at once and you are signed out everywhere.

Deleted at once

your e-mail address, display name and password;
every sign-in session, on every device;
your listings and photos are removed from public view, and your open conversations are closed.

Kept for a limited time, and why

your listings, photos, messages and reports, hidden from everyone except moderators, for safety and fraud investigations and legal obligations;
records of moderation decisions, blocks and the terms you accepted, which refer to your account only by number;
messages you sent stay readable to the person you sent them to, shown as from a deleted account.

These records are deleted when the retention period ends; the length of that period will be stated in the privacy policy before launch. A deleted account cannot be restored, but you can create a new account with the same e-mail address.
